Hosting a Mid South Gold Party is simple. Once we make contact with each other and we work out the details of time and place, as well as share references with each other, you send out invites to all friends and family who want to attend a fun get together with a Gold Party theme. Everybody has some old scrap gold laying around. Everybody has outdated gold jewelry. Everybody has some broken gold here and there. I could go on and on. These items are all worth something. Have your guests bring these items to the Gold Party. Most people go home with several hundred dollars cash.

We schedule a time and place (usually your house). A good number of guests is ten to thirty people. Be sure to invite them and their unwanted gold. Your guests arrive, socialize, have some drinks and appetizers. I set up a table with scales and testing equipment. I give a brief run down of how the valuation process works, check the current days gold price and start weighing up gold.

Your guests are under no obligation to do anything. I quote the price and they have all night to decide. If they choose not to sell that night they can always contact me later. No pressure.

Your hosting commission is 10% of the total amount purchased that night. I have sponsored over 50 Gold Parties and the smallest host commission ever was $287 with average being in ballpark of $600. All money is paid that night. Either cash or check whatever you or your guests want. The Gold buying time usually lasts about 1 to 2 hours depending on how social your guests are.
